Our Story

The Brew Social started with a simple idea: good coffee has a way of bringing people together.

We’re Arlo and Alexus, the owners behind The Brew Social. What started as an idea for a small mobile coffee cart quickly turned into - building the cart, creating our menu, perfecting recipes, showing up at local events, and learning plenty along the way.

From the beginning, we wanted The Brew Social to feel like more than just a place to grab coffee. We wanted to create something welcoming, local, and personal - a place where you can grab your favorite drink, have a conversation, share a laugh, and feel like you are apart from something.

Our menu has grown right alongside us. From our signature Social to homemade seasonal flavors and cold foams, we put thought into ever drink we serve. We love experimenting, creating something new, and seeing people come back for the drink that has officially become their order.

But our favorite part of this business has always been the people.

Every person who stops by the car, follows us to another pop-up, recommends us to a friend, books us for an event, or simply shares one of our posts is helping this little business grow. Being able to serve Fruita, Grand Junction, and the surrounding communities means more to us that we can put into words.

And while you’ll usually see the two of us behind the cart, The Brew Social is truly a family adventure. Our son, Damari, has been part of this journey right alongside us - from watching this little idea grow into a real business to even inspiring creations of his own. At the end of the day, he’s a huge part of why we work so hard to build something we are proud of. We hope The Brew Social becomes something he can look back on someday and remember that he was there from the very beginning.

Our family doesn’t stop there. We’re incredibly fortunate to share Damari’s life with his other parents, Dre and Elena. What could’ve been a co-parenting relationship has grown into a genuine friendship and, ultimately family. They’ve supported The Brew Social from the beginning - helping us when we need an extra set of hands, cheering us on, showing up for us, and being part of the village that makes all of this possible. Building a business takes time, long days, early mornings, and plenty of help along the way, and we never take for granted that we have people like them in our corner.

We’re proud of this co-parenting relationship the four of us have built, but even more grateful for the friendship that came from it. Somewhere along the way, “coparents” stopped feeling like the right word. We became family.

The Brew Social may have started as a coffee cart, but to us, it represents something much bigger: family, community, and building something together - one cup at a time.
